Covid-19 Lock-down Relief

Boys'91 organized free kitchen for 11 days at Sanyasisthan Tea Garden, Bagdogra in association with RPF (Railway Protection Force),Bagdogra Post. During the 1st phase of lockdown due to Covid-19. Boys91 could feed approx 4000 meals for the tea garden workers. Though the initial plan was to run the open kitchen for a day but continued it for 11 days by the grace of god and by the support of the group members and the donors outside the group as well. Boys91 whole heartedly thank all of you those who have come forward to support this mission in cash, kind and also morally. A huge shout-out goes to the RPF Bagdogra post - without them it would have been impossible. Also, a big thanks to the tea garden workers those have worked for cooking to cleaning and most importantly maintaining the discipline which the so called educated people fail to do most of the time. Though Boys'91 started this effort as an aid but we ended being a family.

Boys91 also extended their support to Ei Prajanma with food material that was distributed among the needy and to Siliguri Suryanagar Samaj Kalyan Sanstha with monitory assistance for relief at the Dooars region.

Medical Camp

Boys' 91 successfully organised their maiden free medical camp on 4th May 2003 at the Siliguri Boys' High School premises for the poor and the needy.  Apart from limited time that it took to advertise, we were overwhelmed by the response, and managed to see a vast number of patients contrary to our expectations. We are grateful to Dr. Kallol Dasgupta and our classmate doctors, Dr. Nirliptya Sanyal & Dr. Saurabh Biswas who came to the services with courage and dedication to render their services with one heart.

The outcome of the medical camp was extremely positive as over 200 patients cases were reviewed, treated and free medicines were distributed.
